About The Harbl 100

I am a musician and songwriter, Media/Cinema Studies university graduate and radio broadcast sound engineer.  Because my life choices allow me to have plenty of usable time during the week, I like to invest time in projects, to share with my friends, that are meticulously researched and crafted for their enjoyment.

The Harbl 100 is countdown of the year’s best songs as selected from Australian alternative radio station Triple J’s voting list.  The first broadcast was in 2009, featuring songs released in the previous year.  It was designed to reward artistic merit that is often overlooked by the voting majority in Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown.

Since then, The Harbl 100 has continued to be broadcast and shared annually, and there have also been three A Very Harbl Xmas song compilations.  The latest project is a Harbl 100 Must-See Films list.
